This study evaluates the long-term efficacy of a 20-year-old PRRS modified live vaccine (Ingelvac® PRRS MLV) in South Korea. Researchers tested it against two recent and genetically different type 2 PRRS virus isolates. Results showed that vaccination still significantly reduced viremia, lung lesions, and virus-specific immune responses, confirming the vaccine’s effectiveness after two decades of use in millions of pigs.
